I got this paper plane way back in April from my friend who’s a freelance tattoo artist for virtually free! I only had to pay her gas money for driving over my house. Pretty sweet deal! This was my 3rd one & I thought getting inked on the neck area would hurt as hell but it was actually quite enjoyable. Usually mistaken as a kite, my tattoo represents my free spirit and willingness to fly with my own wings. The broken lines also form an “8” which is my lucky number. Whatever connects to the end of the plane’s trail is yet to be determined. That’s the next project.

i got this because i really love chandeliers, and the solid silhouette of the chandelier looks really minimal. to me this represents taking something so complex and elegant and turning it into something a little simpler. meaning you can be elegant and minimal at the same time
